INCAS & THE AMAZON (PRIVATE DEPARTURE FAMILY HOLIDAY)

Our three-part itinerary visits the jungles and mountains of Peru, which were home to many civilizations whose ancient cities and sites are still being discovered. Deep in the Amazon rainforest we experience the sights and sounds of the world's largest jungle, a remarkable area of wilderness and wildlife. Then, from our base in the old Inca capital city of Cuzco, we take several gentle hikes and explore the varied attractions of the Sacred Valley. Finally we visit Machu Picchu, the Inca city stunningly situated between the Peruvian Andes and the Amazon. The well-preserved ruins provide a fascinating insight into the remarkable Inca people.
