Few places can stir emotions quite as intensely as Umbria. To cycle here is to embark on a journey into a timeless world of sun-drenched landscapes, ancient hill villages and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
The summer climate here is lovely and perfect for the mostly flat pedalling through olives groves, sunflower fields, vineyards and apricot orchards. En route we are rewarded by constant panoramic views of the stunning landscapes and beautiful hilltop villages and hamlets. There are also plenty of cultural highlights including gorgeous Spello, Etruscan Perugia, mediaeval Bevagna and ancient Assisi - the jewel in the Umbrian crown.
Our high quality hotels are wonderfully friendly and each has a private swimming pool and superb local cuisine - the perfect place to end the day with a glass or two of fine red Sagrantino.
