This was a very organised trip. Would highly recommend it, although it would have been nicer if it had not rained. It is a self guided tour and the instructions were easy to follow. Bikes very comfortable and hotels of good standard , except one. I would suggest that exodus reconsider this hotel as we feel it let's your company down. We arrived at Roussillon for two days after riding in the rain all day. We hade no hot water, toilet blocked twice while we were there, bed very uncomfortable and we don't think the breakfast was sufficient for someone who was heading out on a 41klm ride back to Cavillion. After riding in the rain again to Cavillon back to Hotel Toppin, Phillipe could not do enough for us. We arrived quite early, he organised a room and rang through for our bags to arrive early. All of that and we still had a wonderful time.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Make sure you take wet weather gear. We were not really prepared.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Just that I hope Exodus takes on board what we have said about Reves Ocres Roussillon. I would not normally complain about something like this. I just wouldn't go back. But I know that unless something is said nothing can be done. Thank you.

Fabulous trip, the best way to really see the luberon valley. The bikes were great, we didn't have any issues at all. Maybe a nice little city map in the bigger towns so it's easier to find your way out the other side. Wish I was still there.

Riding along the little roads, through lavender fields. Felt like I was riding through a postcard
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
There were some pretty solid days of riding, bit of training would be a good idea

This is a well organised short cycling trip which you can adapt to suit your own cycling needs. You dont have to worry about your bags, they just appear at the next hotel. You can choose your own routes, shorter or longer, and there are lots of opportunity to stop and admire the view, or the local food! The trip notes are detailed and mostly accurate. I got a bit lost a couple of times, but only in the towns, so could easily ask for help. The hotels are great with friendly staff who were happy to listen to me barble on about my day.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Reaching the summit ( well...nearly!!)  of Le Mont Ventoux! this was the goal of my trip, but unfortunately I had to turn back with only about 500m to go as it was so windy it was becoming dangerous. The views from the top were incredible, well worth the hard work of getting there. If you have ever watched Le Tour de France, you HAVE to try this for yourself, the sense of achievement is still with me.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
This cycling trip can be flexible as you can choose between shorter or longer routes, or you could just plan your own. I would recommend taking a larger scale map of the area than is supplied as the trip notes provided are sometimes not detailed enough to distinguish between the smaller quieter roads, especially in towns. It is an expensive trip if you do it alone, like me, but shared between friends or family would be good value for money. Seriously consider taking the taxi to Sault if you plan to attempt Ventoux, its expensive, but I couldn't have done the whole route from Roussillon to Sault, then Ventoux and back. I went in April, and people I met told me that the summit is often closed due to snow until May. The route at the top ( the last 6k) was closed and there was a sign at the bottom to say the road was only open until Chalet Reynard, but when I got there, you could just take the bike round the barrier, so it was only really closed for cars.
Is there anything else you would like to add?

I really enjoyed this trip, with the challenge of Ventoux it was hard work, but the rest of the time it is fairly short cycling distances which can be broken up by stopping at the many towns and villages you pass through, so would suit anyone who cycles regularly. The routes are really quiet, with hardly any traffic, and I met a lot of other cyclists, so it is definitely a cyclist friendly area..
