Jungfrau Peaks & Glaciers

This walking holiday explores some of the Alps' most dramatic scenery: the breathtaking 4000m peaks of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau towering magnificently over the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the deepest U-shaped valley in the world.

The route passes beneath glaciers descending from the great peaks, through meadows carpeted with flowers and close to dramatic waterfalls. The paths and trails are well signposted and way marked, and nowhere in the Alps is there a better provision of mountain lifts and railways, offering almost unlimited walking choices.

Comfortable accommodation in pretty hotels with excellent food make this an excelelnt introduction to Alpine walking.
