  • One of Germany's most picturesque regions
  • Rolling hills, snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes
  • Impressive monasteries, regal palaces, onion-domed churches
Ettal Monastery,Upper Bavaria,Germany

Better known for its famous Passion Plays performed every ten years, Oberammergau is an absolutely perfect for a centre-based week of walk.

From exhilarating mountain hikes to relaxed strolls through valleys and wetland nature reserves, Oberammergau's wealth of well-signed paths and easy-to follow trails make it a great choice.

We provide a choice of easier and harder walks each day; there's a bus stop right by the hotel, and there's mountain lifts to take the sting out of more challenging ascents!

Our well-equipped and comfortable hotel is right in the centre of the village, with steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi at your disposal.

NB: Children aged under 12 may be accepted onto this tour on request (child rates available) but must travel with and share a room with a parent/adult. Please note however, that this itinerary is designed with older children in mind.
