Bridge on Pacific Coast Highway, California

The ultimate US road trip, by bike! From San Francisco to Los Angeles, our journey covers the very best of California. This truly iconic ride takes you through the rolling hills of world renowned wine estates in Napa Valley, alongside towering Redwood trees and across the Golden Gate Bridge to mark our arrival into glittering San Francisco.

With the wind in our hair, our route follows vast stretches of Coastal Highway 1, designated an 'All American Road' for its striking scenic beauty. This famous road twists its way around rocky headlands, clinging to the cliffs as crashing waves stir the numerous Elephant seal colonies that scatter the beaches below.

Out of the saddle there are opportunities to explore the many incredible state parks, isolated beaches and prestigious wineries that the region is so highly regarded for, as well as re-fuelling on fine Californian cuisine.

This is a grand adventure along one of the greatest coastal roads in the world.

What makes this trip responsible?

We stick to marked trails to reduce our impact on the local environment and pay entrance fees to the national park visited which helps support conservation efforts locally. On the trip we employ a ‘leave no trace’ policy in regard to litter - everything taken into the park is taken out to preserve the area and we recycle wherever possible.
