Tuscany: Pisa To Cinque Terre Ride

Tripcode: MET

Countries visited: Italy

Adult Group Holidays Moderate / Challenging New Trip Cycling

Tuscany's finest road riding; Pisa, Lucca and the Cinque Terre

Leaning Tower and Cathedral, Pisa

Some of the best road cycling in Tuscany can be found in the hills and mountains in the north of the region.

This trip will allow you to ride through stunning scenery, discover the amazing cities of Lucca and Pisa, home of the iconic Leaning Tower, get off the beaten track in the Garfagnana region in the far north and end with the stunning Cinque Terre (Five Lands) coastline.

The cycling starts gently in the rolling hills around Lucca before heading into the more mountainous areas to the north of the region towards the end of the trip.

The trip includes a mixture of circular and linear routes and we stay in most hotels for two consecutive nights which allows you to concentrate on the scenery and the riding rather than always packing and unpacking your luggage.

This region is also famous for its huge range of delicious food and wine: what better way to reward yourself after a memorable day in the saddle?
