Terrain and route: all surfaced roads. Mostly quiet backroads but there are occasional roads with traffic. This part of India can be very hot. Although this trip is moderately demanding there is plenty of time to explore.
Accommodation
13 nights comfortable hotels, all en suite, 1 overnight air-conditioned sleeper train. We use a combination of tourist class and 3 star category hotels, some with swimming pools.

All breakfasts, 4 lunches and 1 dinner included.
Reality Check
This is grade B cycling trip, which travels on surfaced roads. Most are quiet backroads, but there may be times when some roads are busy with traffic. India can get very hot, and this is a moderately demanding trip, on occasions the cycling itinerary will need to be modified due to the heat.

Most people who enjoy a weekend riding on either trails or roads at home will enjoy a B-grade trip. You need to be in good health and reasonably fit. Ideal for occasional cyclists, or as a more relaxed trip for fitter riders. B-grade off-road trips require no previous experience. Distances on road trips rarely exceed 70 kms (43 miles) per day.
