HIGH ATLAS TRAVERSE CYCLING HOLIDAY
8 days at GBP1,059 including flights
Tripcode: MMH
Countries Visited: Morocco
Berber villages, stunning mountain scenery and some of the finest off road cycling Morocco has to offer
From Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, this trip works its way into and through the imposing High Atlas Mountains. Our route takes us through the central part of the Atlas and we will see aspects of this region that time seems to have passed by. Nomads still tend their livestock and apart from the odd satellite dish and solar panel, the Berber villages appear as you would have expected centuries ago. The landscape and scenery is at times breathtaking and there is no shortage of varied terrain in this rugged and remote region of Morocco. The riding itself is both exhilarating and challenging. The trip ends with an evening in Marrakech, north Africa's most vibrant and exciting city by night.
