- Amazing road riding in some of the UK's finest countryside
- A vastly experienced local guide to show you the way
- Good quality accomodation with great food
The UK's South Downs could be considered a road cycling mecca. Blessed with the perfect mix of decent weather, rolling terrain, small scenic towns offering everything that a cyclist would need and miles and miles of low-traffic country roads, it's easy to see why this area is such a favourite with riders.
As with anywhere in the world, first class local knowledge is the only way to get a real insight into the area and if you're on a tight timescale, the best way to fit the maximum value into your time there. For this reason, we're going to be using the incredible knowledge of local resident, Jo Burt. Jo has been riding his bike around the lanes of Sussex for over 25 years and knows the road network intimately. Jo will be leading both rides and will be putting his local knowledge to find the best routes to show off what the South Downs have to offer cyclists.
