- Memorable riding through dramatic landscapes
- Varied inland and coastal cycling
- Glaciers, geysers and waterfalls en route

Iceland is a destination unlike any other on earth, a country shaped by violent eruptions and remorseless glaciers. Few places can match the diversity and drama of cycling through its natural wonders. The network of country roads provides an excellent framework for our journey, giving us access to some of the most impressive sites in the south of the country, and in such a sparsely populated country have little traffic, adding to the sense of glorious isolation. Our undulating route gives a first-hand view of some of mother nature's most fearsome creations, including the infamous Eyafjallajokul Volcano, the colourful mountains of Landmannalaugar and the 25m high mass of thundering water known as the Skogafoss Waterfall. We contrast these towering sites with the rolling farmland of the interior and the vast plains of glacial silt along the coast. The variety of landscapes and natural phenomena make this an unforgettable week's ride.
