  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  Dinner and night at the village house. The kindness and helpfulness of the locals and their improvising skills were outstanding. The best dinner we had.

  What did you think of your group leader?

  A competent, nice guy who tried his utmost to make it a memorable trip for everybody.

  Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

  Check whether there is one night of camping. Take your sleeping bag. Be prepared to do a lot of uphill and downhill. And on 1500m it can be still cold in May. On the last day don't stay at the pool. Take the boat down to the beach, walk along the beach and come back by minibus.

  Is there anything else you would like to add?

  It was a fab group and we had lots of fun. I cycled stuff I never thought I would be capable of.

  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  Lovely scenery, great food, hotels mostly very nice.

  What did you think of your group leader?

  Guide / leader seemed inexperienced, and didn't provide any of the background information I would normally expect from an Exodus leader. Didn't help the group to gel.

  Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

  Trip notes did not match the itinerary we actually followed, being seriously adrift on length and type of cycling, and length of transfers on the bus. Trip graded as 'Moderate', but more demanding than that implies. Hired bikes were not maintained to satisfactory standard. Some of the cycling stages involved main roads, dual carriageways, heavy lorries and traffic - route could have been much better organised, with better route planning and timing, so as not to cycle through heat of the day.

  Also, half the group (and guides) went down with food poisoning - most unfortunate, but unknown cause.
