Singletrack mountain biking in Pyrenees

The Pyrenees provide some of the finest and wildest scenery in Europe and, amongst a host of other mountain activities, boast some truly brilliant mountain biking to suit all tastes and abilities. This week's programme consists of 5 days of off road riding on various types of trails, returning to our comfortable accommodation every evening.

A great mix of ridges, forest tracks, easy singletracks, with great descents and some challenging climbs make for a week of outstanding views and great exercise. One or two days will be spent cycling in Spain with an obligatory tapas and cerveza stop at the end of the ride. Our base for the week is La Feniere, a lovely lodge where our groups have enjoyed comfortable rooms and home cooked meals for many years.

What makes this trip responsible?

We have an excellent long-term relationship with the local operator, John Howie. Running the accommodation with the help of his wife and some staff, he leads all the weeks. At La Feniere, they try to use as much fresh local produce as possible to create the delicious meals served. Local cafes, restaurants and mountain huts are visited for snack and drink breaks throughout the week, thus benefitting the local community.
