Borneo offers the active and adventurous group a multitude of exciting activities. Students will meet the loveable orang-utans at the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre and spend two days at a lodge in the Kinabatanagan Wildlife Reserve where orang-utans, elephants, Proboscis monkeys and hornbills are commonly seen. A fitting end to this adventurous journey is a climb of Mount Kinabalu (4095 m), the highest mountain in SE Asia, an amazing accomplishment for your group which is followed by a day at the beach to relax and unwind.

TRAILS OF BORNEO
Day 1
Depart London.
Day 2
Arrive Kota Kinabalu.
Day 3
Fly to Sandakan, visit Sepilok Orang-utan Centre and the Rainforest Discovery Centre.
Day 4
To our lodge on the Kinabatanagan River for sunset cruise, via Proboscis monkey sanctuary.
Day 5
Wildlife spotting on the river, and a trek to an ox-bow lake.
Day 6
Transfer to Sabah tea plantation via Gomontong caves.
Day 7
Drive to mountain resort via Poring Hot Springs, and prepare for ascent.
Day 8
From Mt Kinabalu Park HQ climb to mountain hut at 3400m, via Mesilau Route.
Day 9
Climb to summit of Mt Kinabalu for sunrise; descend and transfer to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 10
Day trip to Mamutik Island to relax on beach, optional activities available.
Day 11
Free morning; evening depart.
Day 12
Arrive London.
