Reality Check
This trip is graded as 'Moderate'. For moderately graded trips you will need to be in good health and reasonably fit. It is recommended that you should be taking regular exercise prior to departure. You will also visit remote areas with basic facilities so please take this in to consideration in assessing whether this trip is right for you. We aim to keep to areas of harder sand throughout, making walking easier, although this may change due to the prevailing weather conditions blowing sand over our route.
Throughout there are no footpaths and we rely on the expertise of our guide and camel drivers to guide us through this barren landscape. During the 6 days trekking we will cover approximately 100km, walking for an average of 4-6 hours per day. You should be able to walk at 2.5-3 miles per hour pace.

Min. 10, max. 24 students with 2 teachers, plus leader and appropriate local staff. Minimum age 14.
