    Canada is stunning.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The Iceline Trail is a cracker. Solitude, glaciers, mountains, and a half hour sleep by the lake after lunch. What more could a boy want?

What did you think of your group leader?

Renee and her sidekick Catherine did a marvellous job for the group. Great food, excellent walks, and more animal spotting than you can imagine. (I think our total bear count was 15, including a grizzly with cubs) They gave us a brilliant tour of the Rockies.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
The ascents are pretty steep on this trip-but worth every drop of sweat as the views are amazing.  Make sure you have plenty of mossie spray-the bugs are big and they take no prisoners. Take a deep breath before entering the toilets at Kanaskis campground!
Is there anything else you would like to add?

We saw great scenery, bears, elk, bighorn sheep, loads of squirrels and plenty of cowboy hats. What's not to like?

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Every day was bringing something different, but the most inspirational moment was the day when we saw Grizzly. Fantastic!!!!

What did you think of your group leader?

I would like to thank to François and Jaclyn for making the trip one and only in its kind. They were absolutely fantastic!!!!!

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Zip your tent properly while on the campground, especially if you have a bar of chocolate in there. Otherwise you will be robbed by a squirrel!!!!!  They are little thiefs (hi hi)

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I will definitely travel with Exodus again.

The whole trip was fantastic. The walks werewell chosen for the scenery & views from the summits. Having unseasonable weather meant that some walks on the itinerary were changed due to heavy snowfalls but this did not detract from the enjoyment of the trip. Camp sites and the facilities were clean & well maintained.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Coming across a black bear (female) with her 3 new cubs, and when a juvenile grizzly bear came to inspect our camp site.

What did you think of your group leader?
Our group leader was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, with a good sense of humour. She went out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed our holiday / travel experience and made the trip interesting. Nothing was too much trouble. A very good cook producing a variety of well balanced breakfasts, lunches and evening meals
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Make sure that you have a variety of clothing for all weathers and that you are relatively ohysically and medically fit to enjoy the trip and get the most out of the walks. Be prepared to be flexible.

Had a great holiday in Canada, enjoyed the camping lifestyle for the 2 weeks we were there and seen a good range of the Rockies national parks.  To summarise -  the food, the guides, the group,  and the wildlife and weather all were excellent, and made a most memorable holiday.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Doing the ridgewalk in Waterton on a beautiful day, and seeing a Bald Eagle flying above in the pure blue sky.

What did you think of your group leader?
The group leader had an outgoing personality, and worked round the clock to accommodate the group. She was very patient with the group and knowledgeable on the Rockies.  The quality of the food prepared was nothing short of excellent.

Good organisation from the UK through to Canada. Excellent local guides on the tour - good cooks and considerate Was this really a grade C trek -walks not excessively demanding. Could it be a B/C ?

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

    - The best walks were from Waterton and spectacular views . Good distance and not too physically demanding.

    - Disappointed with camping facilities in Waterton especially as the camp office was closed and issues with easy access to showers.

    - Local guide made plans to overcome these problems but realistically could have been avoided - either purchase tokens before hand or chose a different site.

What did you think of your group leader?

    - Excellent trek leader (Audrey-Anne) who was well organised and got stuck in to help the group and wanted to make everyone enjoy their trip.

    - Good cooks and a well fed group is a happy one!

    - Trek leader good planner

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

None in particular - no major concerns

Some clarification that if you wanted to do the additional excursions then a walk would need to be sacrified rather than being as well as......if travellers are told about that option then they can make up their minds. More clear description of the options and impact upon the walks planned.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

    - Change the Waterton site and seek a different place with better facilities

    - Add another day to the trip so that walkers get back to Calgary and fly out the next day - it was along day to get from Waterton to Calgary and then to the UK.

    - Original plans did have that plan on early listings but it was removed on the final itinery.

    - Overall brilliant holiday - should plan for a longer break next time.

This is a great trip for anyone who wants to see the best of the Canadian Rockies and doesn't mind some tough walks and roughing it a bit on the campsites.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The scenery is magnificant and the flowers inspirational. We got to see twelve species of mammels, including black bears.
What did you think of your group leader?
Our group leader was exceptional. She had excellent leadership skills and provided wonderful food throughout. We couldn't praise her more fully.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Be prepared for cold weather, especially at night, and watch out for the bugs.........they certainly do bite! All food stuffs and toiletries have to go in a 'Bear Bin' or vehicle at night and when the camp in unattended, so organise your packing accordingly.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you Exodus. A well put together trip and excellent ground-agent. The maximum group size of 12 is right for this trip - don't increase it!
