A short but spectacular trek combined with the cultural highlights of Bhutan

The Paro Festival, Bhutan

Visit Bhutan with its unique cultural heritage, a place where only a lucky few get to explore its incredible trekking routes. Our journey gives us an insight into Bhutanese life by visiting attractive towns with their splendid dzongs (monasteries/forts) and trekking along a classic Himalayan route. The three-day trek includes the beautiful Gangtey Valley and the Gangtey Gompa (monastery). We pass through Gogona and Khotokha, then through forests of juniper, magnolia and rhododendron. We also spend time in Thimpu, before heading back for an afternoon in the idyllic Paro Valley. The spring and autumn departures visit the Paro or Thimpu festivals respectively.
