Walking the Great Wall Oct 09, starting & ending in Beijing. The total contrast between ancient world and the new future of China that is Beijing. Trek lasted 10 days in all & lead by Danny Mao ; a walking library of all Chinese culture, history & society. Its not often you meet someone so dedicated to his work & so fun. Contrasting mix of very basic accomodation including farm houses as well as four star hotels. Guides at each location ; tour of Beijing included Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City ; evening shows as well as own own self entertainment of various after dinner games....
