    An excellent experience. The area is beautiful, the hotel has good accomodation and very good food. The walking was enjoyable with stunning views. The leader was very good and the group bonded superbly. The trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum are fabulous.

    The views of Positano from the Walk of the Gods are stunning.

    Very pleasant and thorough. She added a lot to the enjoyment of the holiday.

    Do it-assuming you like walking and have an average level of fitness.

    Read the trip notes. This holiday is everything it says on the tin.

    What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

    For me it was the chance to visit Herculaneum on the free day, as it was somewhere i,ve been meaning to visit for a few years now. The walk around the crater of Vesuvius was also rather special.

    The moment that I will also remember for ever is  proposing to my partner and her saying yes. Need to think of a great Exodus venue for the next stage.

    What did you think of your group leader?
    Christine was an absolute gem. Great sense of humour and nothing was too much for her. To be honest most Exodus leaders are really good but Christine is one of the best.
    Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
    Book now. The walking is both scenic,varied and not too difficult even for non walkers.
    Is there anything else you would like to add?

    Really nice hotel with the added bonus that they have now opened a small pool. Not big enough for a swim but great to cool off after a hot walk or days sightseeing.

    If you are expecting a fantastic scenery and lovely people, this trip is a ‘must have’. In addition to breath taking natural beauty of the Path of Gods, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius are ancient and geological sites to see. Pretty villages along the coastal path are great hosts for a quick ice cream break or for a romantic dinner. If you are tired of walking it is easy to find a beach nearby. Perhaps a cliché but Ravello and Capri would be good destinations at your free time. So if you have lots of lemons in your life, perfect trip to learn how to do ‘limoncello’.

    We stayed at Agerola , Hotel Ztorri. Our group leader was Eduardo; he is a great personality with a professional work ethic. His human centric approach to make life easier for all in the group was unique. He coordinated our schedule to allow us to see Regatta at Amalfi, it is a rare event to come cross. We had two persons in the group suffering from long term physical injuries, when the thunderstorm caught us, he did not hesitate to use his personal contacts to arrange a carrier for the group. It was a school bus with tiny seats; it made us all smile when it arrived. His local knowledge was very good.

    What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
    Loved all the walks especially the Walk of the Gods and our trip to Ravello on our free day. Lovely gardens and the lunch was so good at Villa Maria. Hotel staff at 2 Torri so helpful and friendly.
    What did you think of your group leader?
    Liz, our group leader was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly making the holiday a great experience.
    Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
    Be prepared for a few hills, but the views are worth the effort.
    Is there anything else you would like to add?
    Would recommend this trip to anyone. It has so much to offer, great walks, amazing scenery, good food and lovely hotel owners who will even teach you to make a pizza.

    A thoroughly enjoyable week in fantastic surroundings. Plenty of picture postcard views on the varied walks.The weather was great all week and even when one walk started with low cloud drifting through the trees it soon cleared to reveal the views.I went on my own and the group were a great bunch to spend the week with.Very nice family run hotel serving some top food. Overall a great mix of walks and sightseeing

    What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
    For me it was visiting Pompeii & Herculaneum with walking round the rim of Versuvius a close second.
    What did you think of your group leader?

    Albert did a great job of making sure everyone got the most out of the week. Even though a couple of the trips had to be swapped to different days it actually worked out really well.

     

    Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
    Be ready for sore calves after all the steps down to Amalfi and Positano :)
    Is there anything else you would like to add?

    In another 10 years i might well do this trip again.
