4 days of moderate walking in beautiful countryside with stunning views of the Amalfi coast. The trip in May allows you to walk in perfect walking conditions with the added bonus of being able to see wildflowers in their natural habitat. The Hotel due Torri, a family run hotel, has friendly staff that make your stay memorable.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
For me, the boat ride on the final day after the Walk of the Gods was the most inspirational momemnt when I could see in a panoramic view all the places I had walked in the past week.
What did you think of your group leader?
Christine was absolutely superb. She made everyone feel included, whatever their fitness level was. She had excellent local knowledge, spoke fluent Italian and held the group together. She even made the bus driver sing!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Bring walking sticks and expect to have a lovely holiday.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
From the first day to the last the whole experience was great I normally organise my own trips but thought that on this occasion I would use Exodus and I was not disappointed. For me the highlight of the trip was at the Hotel where the host's, a wonderful couple ( Brother's ) put on a show in the kitchen of how to make Pizza's, well, we were in rapture's the dough was flying and they captured the hearts of us all they were trully wonderful people and made us so welcome I can honestly say that you could not better the hospitality anywhere.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Just go with the flow

I'd heard the scenery on the Amalfi Coast was great. It certainly was but the walks into the gorges and the walk of the gods was something else. Fantastic!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The walks themselves. Truly awe inspiring. It seemed that around every bend was another fantastic view. Photos did not do it justice.
What did you think of your group leader?
What can I say? Suzy was brilliant! She was very knowledgeable of the area including not only every route but the history and flora and fauna and wildlfe relating to those routes. She had a very good relationship with all the hotel staff which made everything so easy and enjoyable for us all. Each day we were given detailed information as to what the walk entalied and any alternatives available should anyone not wish to do the walk. Best guide I've ever had.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
If you're not used to steps (and they're all different shapes and sizes) then a couple of the walks may not be for you but if you can cope with them the rewards are fantastic. Trekking Poles would certainly be useful for those people.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
No. Just enjoy the wonderful scenery!

What a lovely week I had walking with three girl friends whom I met for lunch in January in a little tea shop near where we live. On mentioning I was going to walk the Amalfi coast they had all signed up and paid deposits with in 5 days. They too had such a good week that on our return home the question was, where are we going next time? we had good food, good company and the week was well organised. I can highly recommend this adventure to anyone.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
the views across the med sea and landscape will stay in my head for a long time.
What did you think of your group leader?
Christine was just fantastic. could not fault her.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Do go and walk the Amalfi coast. so much history there too.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
A very romantic place to go if you are thinking of honey moon, or even weddings, Rovello is so romantic. I would love to return as they have music in the summer on the side of the cliff looking out to see. The area in and around Amalfi has so much to offer and a retutn trip would full another week. April was a good time to go as all the wild flowers are out in the woods plus the wisteria. Hotel very good and family run. Swimming pool could have been a little warmer.

An excellent trip that completely fulfilled my expectations and this despite very mixed and cold weather for March. Hotel Due Torri was clean, comfortable and offered excellent food; the staff were superb.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The 'Walk of the Gods' was spectacular and lived up to its reputation.
The walk into the Valle delle Ferriere was superb, full of interest and history culminating in a magnificent waterfall.
What did you think of your group leader?
Christine Rooney was an excellent leader in every respect; knowledgeable, caring and someone in whom you had total confidence that all would be well throughout the trip. She was at all times appreciative of the group's abilities/interests and made appropriate adjustments according to individual need.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
I would endorse the advice from Exodus to take walking poles, useful in my case for some of the long descents and numerous steps.
March can be very varied in terms of weather. We experienced snowfall and hailstorms. Be prepared regarding layers and suitability of clothes.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Prospective clients are advised to read the trip notes in detail prior to booking since one or two in the group were not prepared for the lengthy descents in wet weather. Note also that there were no local boat trips to Capri nor from Positano to Almalfi at the time of our trip (March).

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
How to decide? The challenge of a completely new experience, the fantastic views, the insight into the past in Pompeii and the realisation that even the rain did not dampen my enjoyment and achievement.
What did you think of your group leader?
Christine was friendly, organised, professional and a very considerate leader. She made the experience enjoyable for all and is obviously very popular with the locals
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Don't be afraid to travel solo;the trip notes are very helpful and so is a walking pole on some of the slopes and steps.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
The whole experience reenergised me and has left me looking forward to the next experience - must write my bucket list!
