Sometimes the itineraries of our trips change and as such it is possible that the client images below may represent a previous version of the holiday. We periodically check all images and will remove any against trips that do not promote the region(s) visited; we do not remove client images if they are representative of the itinerary currently on sale.

The Trigrad Karst region in the Rodopi Mountains where the Exodus TDB holiday is based is internationally recognized as a Prime Butterfly Area. During the daily walks there are wonderful opportunities to observe and photograph many beautiful butterflies.
‘TDB Orchids’ – Album by balkan_trek
The Trigrad Karst region of the Rodopi Mountains where this Exodus TDB holiday is based is internationally recognized as an Important Plant Area. It is rich in rare and endemic species as well as an amazing variety of orchids. Over the years at least 25 species of orchid have been recorded during walks on Exodus' TDB holiday.
‘TDB Autumn Landscapes’ – Album by balkan_trek
Autumn is a wonderful season for walking in the Rodopi Mountains, and in particular in the Trigrad Karst region. The weather tends to be stable with lovely clear and fresh sunny days. Its an ideal time for photography with the deciduous trees turning gold and contrasting with the limestone rocks and dark conifers. Its also a time to see the local people busy harvesting their potatoes and gathering mushrooms.
‘TDB Summer Landscapes’ – Album by balkan_trek
Throughout the summer the Roodpi Mountains are bejewelled by beautiful flowers and a kaleidoscope of dancing butterflies. During Exodus' TDB holiday walks lead through beautiful lush flower-filled hay meadows which are still scythed by hand.
