  This was the most enjoyable trip I've had in a long time.Val di Fassa is a beautiful place and the hotel was very comfortable.The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and made the place feel like home.The structure of the walking week was excellent.The first day we went for a walk along the valley floor and Chris our leader used this as an opportunity to point out to us many of the walks we would be taking during the week.The walking for the rest of the week was in stunning scenery and was not overly taxing as much of the strain of the ascent was taken up by the cable car system.Chris was an excellent guide and assessed our group who were probably B pluses, so up to a little bit more than a regular B group. Accordingly we added pieces to our daily trek when required. He responded really well to any of the suggestions made and was very knowledgable about the area.We all remarked on how fortunate we were to have such a good group, but I for one don't believe that this was accidental, I think trips such as these tend to draw like minded people from diverse backgrounds and they are consequently bound to be interesting.
