A wonderful week's holiday from beginning to end. The scenery, walks, leaders, group, weather, hotel and food/wine/beer were all superb. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone considering it next year. This was my sixth Exodus trip within the past six years and they are consistently of a very high standard.
- What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
There were many however reaching the highest point(around 7000 feet) that I've ever been to in my life has to be the highlight.
Breath-taking doesn't even begin to describe the scenery!
- What did you think of your group leader?
Both Leaders, Bob & Chris, were absolutely superb. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, sociable & extremely fit!
It's obvious that they are great mates and the banter between them was great.
They contributed greatly to the enjoyment of the week and were great company.
Thanks for a great week guys.
- Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
The main advice would be if you are thinking of booking this trip then go for it!
Be prepared for all types of weather - our first day, the Sunday, was very wet(waterproof jacket and trousers) however the rest of the week we were bathed in very warm, glorious sunshine.
- Is there anything else you would like to add?
We had a small group of only 9 folk however they were all great company and we bonded really quickly.
A big thanks to the kitchen staff at the hotel for their excellent food all week - 4 courses every night & even 5 on one evening! - The soups, especially, were delicious. I don't normally eat desserts however the one's served up were all great and completely different each evening.
I went on a trip to Innsbruck on the free day - it's a beautiful city surrounded by stunning mountains with really interesting buildings and great cafes & bars to relax outside.
The transport was really efficient with the local bus stopping right outside our hotel each morning and the trains are very modern as well.
Overall, a brilliant week!
