Discover scenic ridges and marvellous peaks on challenging walks through Stubai Alps
In the heart of the Austrian Tyrol lie some of the highest peaks in the Alps, which mark the divide between Austria and Italy's South Tyrol. This area includes the Stubai mountains, an area of stunning glaciers and picturesque valleys with dramatic waterfalls. From our wonderfully situated family-run guesthouse at 1770m, we enjoy high level walks where we are rewarded with panoramic views over the Inn, Mittertal and Langental valleys. After a hearty breakfast prepared with local produce from the mountain farm, we are ready to take on some challenging but non-technical walks up to the summits of Sulzkogel (3016m) and PirchKogel (2828m). Whilst enjoying the wonderful home-made food, we can relax on the forest clearing outside the guesthouse and enjoy incredible views over the impressive Stubai and Otzal mountains.
| Day 1 | Fly to Munich; transfer to Marlstein via Innsbruck. |
| Day 2 - 7 |
5 guided daywalks along scenic ridges and reaching PirchKogel and Sulzkogel peaks. All walks are rewarded with wonderful views over Stubai Alps. Free day to enjoy rafting, canyoning or other self-guided walks direct from the farm. |
| Day 8 | To Munich; fly to London. |
