Gentle walking through the mountains and tea plantations of beautiful Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a natural paradise, an island full of verdant mountains, dense forest, gushing waterfalls and ancient cities. We walk amongst the famous Knuckles Range's unique montane forest as well as the hills and tea plantations of Dalhousie. We also make the ascent of lofty Adam's Peak, sacred to four religions, in time for its famous sunset views. Nuwara Eliya with its faded colonial past lies at the heart of the southern hill country and is surrounded by green mountains. Hidden amongst all this dramatic scenery are the ancient Buddhist cities of Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya as well as the beautiful lakeside city of Kandy. In contrast the trip ends on the beaches of the west with the chance to relax.
