SAHARA DESERT TREK

Your last chance to shower will be upon arrival in Tunis on day 1. After this, you won't see any running water until you are back in Djerba on Day 7.  
Water is scarce while out on the trek and no water will be provided for washing - which makes the warm springs in Ksar Ghilane on Day 7 all the more enjoyable!

This is wild camping. Enjoy the privacy of bushes. No toilet tent provided, but sufficient vegetation to hide!  

You are visiting a predominantly Muslim country, therefore you should dress modestly at all times when visiting cultural sites, there may also be times when you are asked to 'cover up'. During your trip the tour leader will always advise you on appropriate dress for each day's activities. 

If you are asked to 'cover up', you'll need to cover your shoulders, arms and legs. We recommend packing lightweight trousers or a long skirt, and a long sleeved shirt. Women may also be required to cover their hair with a scarf if entering a mosque or religious quarters.

As soon as we have reached the minimum numbers to guarantee the departure we will let our clients know or if we intend to cancel the departure we will endeavour to advise with appropriate notice.

If you are on the group flights or have pre-arranged this, an Exodus representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your Start Point/Hotel.

It is a condition of joining any of our holidays that you must be insured against medical and personal accident risks (to include repatriation costs, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services). We also strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Our insurance policy is designed specifically to cover the potential risks on our holidays, and you should be aware that some policies do not include, or restrict, cover for this type of travel. If you do not take our policy, you must ensure that the policy you do take provides an equivalent level of protection and covers you for the activities involved.
