Attempt the summit of North Africa's highest peak

Mt Toubkal, known locally as Jebel Toubkal, stands 4167m above sea level and commands superb views of the High Atlas Mountain range. From the summit there are dramatic views to Marrakech in the north and as far as the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the south. This Morocco trekking holiday is an energetic way to spend a long weekend with just three days in the mountains to approach, summit and descend the highest peak in North Africa. We pass through a Berber village on our way to Base Camp which gives us an insight into the life and traditions of these hardy and friendly mountain people. After our trek we have some free time to explore the vibrant and colourful city of Marrakech.
What makes this trip responsible?
We have an excellent long-term relationship with the local operator and provide refresher training for all leaders with a focus on Responsible Tourism, so our local leaders can educate our clients locally on helping to preserve the way of life in their area. We are working with the staff at Neltner Refuge (Toubkal base camp) on various schemes with the mutual goal of reducing the amount of plastic bottles wasted locally.
