The trip was amazing with great new experiences almost every day.  We had fantastic views of Everest and many other mountains.  Our Leader was exceptional and the group all got on really well.  The Lodges were amazing especially when you consider the difficulties to be overcome in just getting things like electricity and water.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
    Our first glimpse of Everest.
What did you think of your group leader?
He was amazing - nothing was too much trouble for him or his helpers. In Kathmandu he arranged daytime tours and evening meals for those that wanted them. He made sure that our group was safe and well looked after.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Some cold medication or decongestent could be helpful - all our group seemed to have a cold or cough.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
This really was a luxury trip compared to the other accomodation options that we came across. I had an excellent time and would definately recommend this trip.

I enjoyed the fantastic views, seeing Mount Everest, Ama Dablum etc was wonderful and was the reason for going on the trip. I was expecting the paths to be better than they were, and I was not expecting so much precopice walking, although I don't suffer from vertigo several on the trip did and found this very difficult to deal with. The Everst Summit Lodges were lovely and the food there was plentiful and good (the exception was the lodge in Namche Baazar which was definately not up to the "luxury" tag). Unfortunately being hold up in Lukla for an extra 3 days (I know that was less than lots of people) put a damper on the end of the trip because of the additional difficulties the delays made workwise etc. The people we met were wonderful and overall I would say I had a very good enjoyable holiday (with the above exceptions).

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Seeing the mountains with the wind wipping up the snow was amazing.
What did you think of your group leader?
Our group leader knew what was what and was very friendly, well done Nabin.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
The paths were far more uneven and variable in nature than I had expected, and as I said walking on a 2-3 foot wide path with a shear mountain drop of thousands of feet  at your edge was not fun for those in the party with vertigo! And although the group contained several serious weekend hill walkers, some of the inclines were much harder and longer (going both up and down) than I had expected.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Remember at night there is no where to go so entertainment is up to you, take cards, travel games etc and lots of books!

An excellent introduction to trekking in the Himalayas, with the opportunity for good views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and other high mountains.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Seeing Mt Everest and numerous 20K+ ft peaks.
The warm hospitality of the Nepalese people.
Seeing a society functioning without motor cars.

What did you think of your group leader?
The tour leader had excellent organisational skills, everything ran to schedule.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Though most accomodation is ensuite don't expect warm showers (warm water is dependant on sunshine each day). Accomodation in Namche (1 night) was, for us, markedly lower standard than on the rest of the trek where the accomodation was comfortable and the staff very hospitable.
For those 'newbies' to trekking at moderate altitude, the air is a little thin but the actual effort required for most days is no more than the average Lake District hill climb. There are lots of steps on the trek - so good training preparation would involve steps; good testing ground would be ascending Hellvellyn from Swirls (Thirlmere) - if you're comfortable doing that, you should find each day on this trek no more strenuous.
If you can plan some of your training walks to end with an uphill, then that will be in keeping with the pattern of most of the trek days.
Bottled water is available on trek but consuming from this source is not eco-friendly.
Tap water need filtering and decontaminating - we found 'Aquapure Traveller' bottles simple to use.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

You are likely to have free time in Kathmandu; if you've not been before --  the cremation ghats at Pashputinath are facinating if macabre; a taxi ride to Bhaktapur village 15m east of Kathmandhu, steeped with ancient temples and Newari achitecture, is a welcome breather from the noise, pollution and concrete jungle of Kathmandhu.
Good restaurant in Thamel - Helena's - good views from 7th story terrace, safe tasty inexpensive food.

What did you think of your group leader?
He was excellent-took great care of all of us
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Make sure you have good medical advice
Is there anything else you would like to add?
It was a wonderful trip but was harder than we expected becuase of the exceptional snowfall and icy conditions underfoot. Think carefully about the time of year to go.
