Adult Group Holidays Leisurely / Moderate Special Interest Walking & Trekking Wildlife Photography Cruise

A unique trek amongst incredible wildlife and geology

Taking a picture whilst snorkelling in the Galapagos.

Isabela, the largest island in the Galapagos, is the only place in the entire archipelago where extended trekking is possible, and we are one of the very few operators allowed to hike there.

A unique environment, it is one of the last remaining habitats of the giant Galapagos Tortoise, is home to many interesting species of endemic wildlife, and boasts five major volcanoes.

As well as trekking on the recently active Volcan Chico in the Sierra Negra, we also make shorter hikes on several other islands. A unique trip to a truly unusual and fascinating part of the world.

What makes this trip responsible?

We adhere to the strict rules of the Galapagos National Park at all times during this trip – for example, staying on marked trails, taking all litter with us and maintaining an appropriate distance from wildlife. All services are contracted locally (guides, boats, restaurants, hotels and transport) and all food is bought locally, thus keeping money in the local community.

Our local operator is verified by the Rainforest Alliance and committed to improving their environmental, social and economic practices

Additional Local Taxes

Compulsory Galapagos taxes US$110 (approx. GBP70), paid locally.
