What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
    View from the Sun Gate
What did you think of your group leader?
    Both were excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Outgoing flight delayed then cancelled to Madrid. This meant a night at an airport instead of in a hotel. Quite tiring.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
My broken wrist was diagnosed by an English doctor as a sprain. However guide gave me excellent pain killers. Have broken it in 2 places and have a plate fitted. Slightly spoilt my enjoyment!

The trip was defonately a trip of a lifetime. The trek was amazing and the views just spectacular! We didnt even mind when it rained on our final day! The atmosphere on the trek was superb and we were always very well looked after. I didnt think anything could top this part of the trip, then we reached the galapagos islands...

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

It was all very inspirational, the whole trip but the best moment for me was seeing the penguins on the galapagos. Also seeing the spectacular Boobies synchronised diving was a sight i didnt expect to see.

What did you think of your group leader?
The group leaders were brilliant. Their local knowledge was second to none and their commitment to looking after us and ensuring our every need was catered to. On the last night of our trek our leader organised celebratory beers for us from the nearby town! :)
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Book now! Its definately a trip of a lifetime and will give you the travel bug. The only advice i have is make sure you have a well fitting back[ack for the trek as it will make your life a lot easier!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Worth every penny! I'm now saving up for my next trip...

Just the most fantastic experience, trek to Machu Picchu followed by (as one of my fellow travellers put it) a 'wildlife overload' on Galapagos.  Will never forget the three weeks they were that special!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

After having to dig deep on the Inca Trail, especially as we crossed Dead Woman's Pass, it was a stunning sight to see Machu Picchu below as we walked through the Sun Gate, a very emotional moment.

On Galapagos it would have to be snorkelling with Pacific green turtles and sitting close to the almost prehistoric looking marine iguanas.

What did you think of your group leader?

Arturro on the Inca Trail was very supportive and gave lots of advice about how to cope with altitude.  He had a good sense of humour and looked after us really well.

Monica on the Galapagos Islands was a very special lady.  Her love of the islands and its wildlife was obvious.  She had so much knowledge and we came back having a real understanding of the islands, its environment and the incredible wildlife.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

There's a book called '50 places to see before you die'.  Along with Mount Everest, which I was fortunate enough to see last year, these would be my top three destinations.  Go!!

When walking at altitude go slowly and drink plenty.  There's always enough light during the day to take your time and just enjoy being in beautiful surroundings.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

It was our first booking with Exodus and it will not be our last.  The whole holiday was well organised, everything went smoothly and it was great value for money - we even had banana flambe as a pudding on the trek!

An excellent trip combining the history of the Inca Trail in Peru with the wildlife and relaxation on board a yacht in the Galapagos Islands.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Getting to the summit of Dead Womans Pass after a six hour climb.

Overcoming altitude sickness to see Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate.

Watching from close range a Galapagos Hawk feasting on a frigate bird it had just killed.

Seeing a whale shark swimming around and under the yacht just as we crossed the Equator.

What did you think of your group leader?
Both Nerys in Peru and Santiago in Galapagos were excellent. They had top quality local knowledge and were able to answer all of our questions. Their knowledge and insight really brought the trips to life.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Take it easy when on the Inca Trail - altitude sickness can hit on the 3rd or 4th day of the hike.

Be prepared for lots of early starts in the morning - and early to bed at night.

Make sure you have binoculars and plenty of memory cards for your camera in Galapagos.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Book it! Its well worth it!
