Mountains, jungle and history: the Inca Trail is the most famous trek in the Andes

Walkers exploring Winay Wayna, Inca Trail

Peru's Inca Trail offers walkers the finest combination of history and scenery to be found on a trekking route anywhere in the world. The most famous trail in South America, it winds from the rapids of the Urubamba River through mountains, cloud forest, deep jungle and Inca ruins to the fabulous lost city of Machu Picchu. We provide excellent guides and porters on the Inca Trail as well as a couple of days in the magnificent Inca capital of Cuzco. Tour extensions to Lake Titicaca or the Amazon Rainforest are also available.

The Moonstone Trek is now available as a higher, more isolated route to the Inca Trail. Click here for more information.

The Rainbow Centre, Kiya Survivors

Kiya Survivors is a registered Peruvian charity providing safe and loving educational and rehabilitation centres for children with special needs. It is the first school dedicated to special-needs children in the Sacred Valley and now 40 children attend regularly. Since the centre opened, Kiya has provided support to over 200 children as well as providing help on many social issues to other members of the local communities in which it works. Kiya Survivors at the Rainbow Centre is available to visit on almost all of our trips that pass through Cuzco including this Inca Trail trip.
