Explore Norway's dramatic fjords, walk glaciated valleys and climb beautiful peaks

Set your camera to 'scenery' as you enter fjord Norway, heading deep into the heart of the country where no ungainly cruise ships can access.
This is a landscape born from violence; yet the artistry of nature leaves a world etched with beauty, carved by centuries of grinding glacial arms. The thunder of cascading waterfalls remains a constant companion as we set off on foot to explore birch forests, climb to staggering panoramic views and immerse ourselves in one of the most beautiful and tranquil places on the planet.
Each evening we return to the charming Nes Gard farmhouse, where a three course dinner packed with their home grown cherries and strawberries awaits.
What makes this trip responsible?
This tour has been designed to both operate in a way that minimises our impact on the environment that we visit and to maximise the benefit that our clients can have on the host community. We use a locally based operator and have established a long-term partnership, assisting with local staff training in all aspects of their jobs, thereby investing in the people to help improve their knowledge and future prospects. The accommodation used is a family-run farmhouse dating back to 1850, where some produce is still grown. Tourism now provides an alternative income to farming for such ventures.
