Itinerary
Day 1
Depart for the flight to Bilbao, on arrival transfer to the hotel at Arenas de Cabrales. Those with land-only arrangements meet the group at the airport or the hotel.
Day 2 - 7
The last of our peaks. At 2000m, the twin summits of Mancondiu is the highest point we will reach during the week. Most of the walking apart from the last 200m is on now disused mining tracks. The top offers fantastic views of the Central and Eastern massifs and for the brave an easy although exposed traverse between the two summits marks a highlight to a varied week in what has been described as 'the most scenic exposure of compact limestone in Western Europe'.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport. Those with land-only arrangements leave us in Arenas or Bilbao.
