Sterling cash is best, and just change it locally when you arrive. You can arrange some local currency in advance but there is really no need and no advantage in doing so. ATMs are widely available as well, in case you need to top up towards the end of the trip!

This trek includes 6 day walks through moderate to difficult terrain, where you will need to carry a day backpack. We usually walk between 4 and 8 hours a day, with a picnic lunch taken on the way. The trails are almost always not well maintained and not well marked. The paths are often rough and stony underfoot. The day walks involve steady ascents and descents (maximum 1000 metres). The walk on day 4 will be long
and arduous. There are steep, long drops on sections of this trip, as well as paths that traverse along ridge lines, therefore it is not recommended for clients who suffer from vertigo.

If you are used to walking with poles then you can take them with you. They are not essential though and the walk is manageable without them. It is personal preference but do remember to pack them as part of your main luggage to be stowed in the hold.
