Trek The Polish High Tatras

During the trek in the Tatras accommodation will be in mountain hostels with bedding and linen provided. The mountain hostels are of a good standard with dorm accommodation, usually in rooms with 8-10 people.
In Zakopane we use a high quality pension, and in Krakow we use a hotel. Rooms are provided on a twin share basis, with all rooms being en suite.

If you are used to walking with poles then you can take them with you. They are not essential though and the walk is manageable without them. It is personal preference but do remember to pack them as part of your main luggage to be stowed in the hold.

No, if you hold an EU passport, you do not need any visa to travel. If you hold a non EU passport, please check with your nearest embassy.

Sterling cash is best, and just change it locally when you arrive. You can arrange some local currency in advance but there is really no need and no advantage in doing so. ATMs are widely available as well, in case you need to top up towards the end of the trip!
