- Undiscovered country of outstanding natural beauty
- Wild and rugged landscape with historic folkore
- UNESCO World Heritage Site of Berat

Situated just north of mainland Greece, Albania is an ideal destination for walking thanks to its varied and undiscovered terrain.
This fascinating, little-known Mediterranean country has a wild and rugged landscape where agricultural life remains unchanged for years and beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites reveal the diverse cultural heritage of a hospitable nation.
Albania boasts outstanding natural beauty with jagged mountains, golden sand beaches and lush meadows. Walking through northern Albania, we stay in wonderful guesthouses and learn more about the traditional Albanian folklore.
With a local leader throughout and a second leader for many of the walks, we can share their wealth of knowledge about this captivating culture.
Our busy week would not be complete without a quick stop in Kosovo and some quality time on the beach.
What makes this trip responsible?
This tour makes every effort to support the local economy by staying in family-run hotels who source locally produced food. It is important to generate income for the local economies, which are predominantly agricultural. We visit small local cooperatives where possible that incentivise more agricultural production. Staying in guesthouses allows us to walk away from the tourist route and sample some real Albanian hospitality as well as providing an income for smaller communities.
