DOLOMITES TREK
8 days from GBP948 to GBP952 including flights
Tripcode: TWJ
A superb hut-to-hut circuit through classic Dolomites scenery, with some easy sections of Via Ferrata
The Italian Dolomites are among the most striking mountains in Europe with steep spires and stunning peaks that have attracted rock climbers since the early 19th century. The wild and rugged landscape is a paradise for walkers as well, and our route follows some high trails, locally called Alta Via, on a spectacular circuit above the famed resort of Val Gardena. From one comfortable mountain hut to the next, some easier sections take us through valleys and pine forests, while other paths lead beneath towering rock walls and high into the rocky peaks. Occasional sections of simple Via Ferrata - the famous cable-assisted scrambles - add extra excitement to the stunning trekking.
