The best of the Tour du Mont Blanc in a week - all from a comfortable chalet in the Chamonix Valley

The circuit of Mont Blanc is one of the finest walking routes in the Alps.
It is in reality a series of paths linking the seven valleys that surround the highest mountain in Western Europe. To complete the whole circuit normally takes a fortnight, but for those with less time this one-week trip takes in the outstanding sections. New for 2013 we stay the entire week in the fantastic Chalet Chocolat, situated in the quiet hamlet of Les Bossons, within walking distance of the centre of Chamonix.
Using our own transport we travel out each day to rejoin the next stage of our walk; most transfers are short, and after each day's walk we return to the chalet, avoiding the need to carry luggage, or pack and unpack each day. The chalet has seven bedrooms, all with private facilities, and evening meals are taken in the rustic wood-beamed dining room or in the garden with its superb mountain views and outdoor hot tub.
For 2013 we will be running the trips from a fantastic new chalet. Our itinerary will still include the same spectacular selection of walks.
What makes this trip responsible?
We try to use as much fresh local produce to create the delicious meals served in the chalet. We actively recycle waste and have allocated bins for guests to dispose of aluminium cans and glass bottles. Local restaurants and mountain huts are visited for snack and drink breaks throughout the week, benefiting the local community.

Here at Exodus we feel the need to offer our clients an alternative to air travel within Europe and to destinations where taking the train can be a viable alternative to flying.
Working in cooperation with Rail Europe, our sales team will be happy to reserve your seats and tickets can be booked 3 months prior right up until the day of departure, subject to availability. Suggested train times and further information can be found within the Trip Notes.
