A 'fast and light' week of the classic Mont Blanc Circuit

Approaching the Grand Col Ferret

The Mont Blanc Circuit is deservedly one of Europe's classic walks, circumnavigating western Europe's highest mountain. This exciting itinerary concentrates on some of the most spectacular sections of the circuit, thus enabling us to produce a hard and exhilarating one-week trip for the trekking enthusiast. Overnighting in simple family-run accommodation, we trek clockwise around the Mont Blanc Massif from the Col de la Forclaz to Champex (Switzerland) and Courmayeur (Italy), before reaching our final destination of Chamonix (France). Hearty local cuisine from three countries, phenomenal views and some of Europe's best walking combine to make this a fantastic short trek.

What makes this trip responsible?

Throughout this trek we visit small mountain refuges for drink and snack stops helping to support the mountain community. While  trekking our leaders and support staff work hard to ensure our groups leave minimal impact on the areas they walk, taking all litter and recycling where possible.

Take the Train

Here at Exodus we feel the need to offer our clients an alternative to air travel within Europe and to destinations where taking the train can be a viable alternative to flying.

Working in cooperation with Rail Europe, our sales team will be happy to reserve your seats and tickets can be booked 3 months prior right up until the day of departure, subject to availability. Suggested train times and further information can be found within the Trip Notes.
