Reality Check
Due to the nature of the terrain this trip is not recommended for vertigo sufferers.
Most weeks offer Moderate (B) grade walking where we usually walk between 5 and 7 hours per day. The area we are visiting is criss-crossed by a network of long established trails and walking paths, most of them well maintained and waymarked. Even so, paths are rocky and on occasion exposed.
On the following weeks, we offer Challenging (C) grade walking: 1st September 2012, 15th September 2012, 15th June 2013, 29th June 2013, 7th September 2013, 21st September 2013. On these departures, we usually walk between 6 and 8 hours per day at a steady pace. We use established trails and mountain paths, which are often steep, rocky and more exposed than the grade B walks. These departures are unsuitable for anyone with a fear of heights. Some fixed equipment and easy via ferrata may be encountered. We enjoy the same walks and visit the same areas on each trip, however the length and difficult varies according to grade.
Please make sure you choose the walking level that matches your ability.
Normal group size and age
Normally 7 to 15, plus leader. Minimum age 16.

The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together.
All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please
see our Solo Departures page.
No experience is necessary; those who take weekend hill walks in areas like the Peak District or Cotswold’s at home should manage a B-grade trek; good health and reasonable fitness are important. These Moderately graded departures are either fairly easy medium-duration walks or harder, shorter walks.

Walking & Trekking: Trips are wholly trekking-focused or simply include a significant number of walking days during the itinerary.
Where you stay is a crucial part of a holiday, and we have gone to great lengths to find accommodation that provides extra comfort, character, convenience and value. Five-star hotels won’t feature on the agenda, but itineraries guarantee a greater degree of comfort after your day’s efforts.
