An exciting week trekking through the spectacular peaks and passes of the Gran Paradiso

Lunch stop on the Gran Paradiso

Standing at 4061m, the Gran Paradiso is the highest mountain entirely within Italy and is surrounded by a magnificently preserved national park. This strenuous yet non-technical trek will take you through dramatic high mountain scenery, passing stunning glaciers, crystal clear lakes and tranquil meadows. Each night will be spent in different traditional refuges, enabling time in the mountains to be maximised. For those wishing to challenge themselves further, your leader can help you book a qualified mountain guide who will help you climb to the summit the Gran Paradiso. Your effort and exertion will be rewarded with breathtaking views and photo opportunities of the surrounding ranges of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Grand Combin. The first and final night will be spent in the comfort of a family-run hotel, a chance to relax before and after this challenging week.
