- Stunning canyons and coastal paths
- Explore abandoned remote villages
- Remarkable history of Nizwa and the ancient fort

Oman is widely considered to be the most beautiful of the Gulf States. The rugged landscape rolls into spectacular dunes that kiss the edge of the Indian Ocean.
We explore Muscat old town, including the Grand Mosque as well Nizwa Fort, the former capital. Heading by jeep to the Hajar mountains we'll travel in the traditional way and camp for a few nights, and by day walk through wadis, huge valleys and pass abandoned villages.
By contrast we end with a long walk along the edge of stunning cliffs with an incredible back drop of the the Eastern Hajar mountains.
Oman's gentle people are both welcoming and keen to share their rich culture, making this trip an altogether enriching experience.
What makes this trip responsible?
Our small group sizes ensure that we limit our impact on the places we visit. Throughout our visit we support the economy of small villages and communities that we pass through, using their smaller restaurants, traders and shops.
