Everest Base Camp group helps fix Khunde Hospital equipment

Exodus Group at Khude Hospital with the faulty oxygen tankFor those who have recently trekked in the Everest region of Nepal, you may well have spotted the request outside of Khunde Hospital, near Namche Bazaar, asking for expertise in fixing one of their oxygen tanks.

Now I'm no expert on what was needed but Dr Phil Meats was, and since returning in December 2007 has tracked down the piece of equipment needed, and it is now on it's way out to the hospital.
