What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Proposing to my girlfriend on the Aiguillette de Brevent with the snowy Mt Blanc across the valley - She said yes!

What did you think of your group leader?

Oliver always ensured that the group members were well informed about the walk ahead, and assisted with any slightly tricky areas, including several short areas where the path crossed through snow. He has the knack of getting the group to gel well, which for us, was an important part of the holiday. (Read the review in the Sun newspaper to get a feel for his jokes!).

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

This was our first walking holiday and we chose a "B" grade as it seemed to fit our abilities. The grading was spot on and since we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday I'm sure we will be booking again with Exodus. The group was a nice mix of people, some on their own, some with partners, and an age range of 20-55. Elaine's great home cooking (with special diets catered for) meant we were well fed and Oliver took care of transport, guiding, and all things that one needed to know on the mountains. The daily walks were probably the equivalent of walking to Snowdon summit from Pen-y-pass each day (about 6-7 miles), so if you book this trip, ensure your feet are used to long descents.
