A mushing we will go!!!

The end of February brings the exhilarating sport of Dogsledding into the heart of Kandersteg and not just a local competition but the European Championships. At the end of an extra special week of winter activities we will have the chance to see the dogs bark into action and fly around an exhilarating course.

So why not combine this unique chance with the opportunity to get out of the office or routine and be inspired by Swiss mountains, local food and winter sports, all of which introduce you to the true majesty of alpine mountains in style.   Not only could you step out into the stunning winter wonderland of Kandersteg but you could also enjoy fun winter sports throughout the week. The  itinerary include cross country skiing, ice skating (there's always a budding Torvil and Dean out there somewhere!) , curling (sliding stones around - you need a bit of sweeping to help get the winner), snowshoeing (treading where normal walkers can't go) and tobogganing (the Swiss have it covered as they have special trails marked out solely for their use -  hold on to your hats!).

This activity week has it all, combining stunning scenery, an enthusiastic and experienced guide (me!) and lots of exciting, varied winter activities but don't just take my word for it join me in Switzerland for a week of jam packed fun.
