BBC COAST - 'the perfect shot of a polar bear'

On Tuesday 25th August BBC Coast travelled the spectacular shoreline of Norway to discover Britain's age-old link to the land of the fjords. Nick Crane took a trip over one of Norway's most beautiful fjords to witness the great ice sheets. Theirs was the force which once sculpted Britain's own landscape; in Norway they are still at work gouging out the mighty glacial valleys. Whilst in the frozen landscape of Svalbard, wildlife photographer Jason Roberts was on the hunt for the perfect shot of a polar bear.

As the market leader for small ship expedition voyages to the Svalbard archipelago Exodus know the area better than most. Next summer we have two Polar Bear Photography Voyages led by Paul Goldstein the award winning wildlife photographer, guide and conservationist. Chris Packham of BBC Springwatch will also accompany one of these voyages. If you have travelled on a photography trip with Exodus before you will know this will entail early rises and long hours on deck and in the open. The rewards are worth it - these are unique trips!
