Exodus at the Big Bike Bash

Big Bike Bash - Green corridorHot sunshine, locally made ice cream, a beer tent and miles of twisty woodland singletrack, all located beside an imposing Grade 1 listed manor house, complete with sweeping gardens and a large lake, made for the perfect combination for the inaugral running of the Big Bike Bash in the New Forest this past weekend.  Billed as a combined bike, beer and a music festival, and designed to appeal to grass roots cyclists and families alike, it seemed like the perfect event for Exodus to get involved in.

Big Bike Bash - Bike ParkAs one of the headline sponsors, we entered into the spirit of the event and raced (with Andy Ross, our Cycling Brochure Manager managing to win his race), chatted about our trips with the hundreds of visitors to the weekend, ate ice-cream in the sunshine, and might have even had a cheeky local cider or two! Exodus offered a star prize of a free place on our Atlas Descent (MMA) mountain bike trip, which was won by Matt Clinkard, who correctly identified Morocco as the country used in our photographic competition.

Watch the fun of the weekend Bike Bash on the short video, our own Olly Townsend created.
