Our Antarctica, Falklands & South Georgia trip begins sailing east to the Falklands with its large population of Rockhopper and Magellanic penguins and Black-Browed albatross, before sailing on to South Georgia, the final resting place of Ernest Shackleton. The ship then threads its way through magical fjords to Salisbury Plain and Gold Harbour, both astonishing wildlife havens boasting tremendous populations of King Penguins and Elephant and Fur seals. The voyage then continues to the South Orkney Islands and enters an enchanted world of icebergs in the bays of the Antarctic Peninsula. Here, in addition to seals and penguins, there are opportunities for close encounters with three or four species of whale.
