Leopard range map (Ref. Wikipedia) Leopard’s success in the wild is partly due to its opportunistic hunting behaviour, its adaptability to habitats and its ability to move at a speed of approximately 58 kilometres per hour (36 mph). The leopard consumes virtually any animal it can hunt down and catch. The leopard is the only big cat that thrives across half the world, while tigers, cheetahs and lions are all struggling. Perhaps the most extraordinary revelation is that leopards are living undercover on farms and even in cities across Africa and Asia. Regular sightings are reported from places like Beijing and Mumbai. Even in Britain many have claimed to have spotted this amazing survivor. Leopard's survival skills are spot on!
