Snow snow and yet more snow! Yes we are pleased to report that conditions across Europe are cracking. So what better way to escape the Valentine’s day hype than by grabbing your wooly hat and donning a pair of skis or snowshoes and exploring the crisp white snow on an Exodus Winter holiday.

The latest reports from France are that all resorts have received fresh blanket of snow this weekend with over 30cm falling in some places. This photo (left) has been sent in from our leader in Chamonix where the conditions are perfect for exploring the mountains on snowshoes and snow has even stretched to the valley floor. The Italian and Austrian Alps are also enjoying the fresh powder with Dobbiaco recording sunny days and a prediction for further snow forecast at the weekend.

It is not just the Alps that are having all the luck though; snow has also been falling in the Pyrenees and all the cross country trails are open offering km of perfect tracks.

Looking further afield to Scandinavia conditions remain consistent with cold temperatures (up to -30 in some resorts!) helping to keep the hard packed snow ideal for both husky dog sleds and cross-country skis alike.

Slovakia too has received a fresh covering of snow with the highland area of Zdir reporting some heavy snowfall helping to produce spectacular photos such as this latest shot.
